iCal 7:30 PM. The Seraphim Singers [MA]: Light from Deepest Heaven, Choral Concert and Winter Wear Clothing Drive. James Woodman: "The Midwife's Tale"; Daniel Pinkham: Christmas Cantata (not performed at the Sunday 7:30 pm concert); works by Daryl Bichel, Graham Gordon Ramsay, Jason Robison, John Rutter, Timothy Takach, and Patricia Van Ness. Jennifer Lester, conductor; Heinrich Christensen, organ. With the Bitumen Brass Quartet (no brass Sunday 7:30 pm). Seraphim’s Winter Wear Drive: bring winter wear donations for those facing housing insecurity! The items will be distributed by The Friday Café at First Church in Cambridge. Donate new and gently used sturdy winter clothing, shoes, and boots. Tickets: $25, $20 senior, $10 students, $15 virtual (Sunday 3 pm concert). Works by James Macmillan, Imant Raminsh, Moses Hogan, Arvo Pärt, Kevin Siegfried, and others that reflect on the ways music has given voice to our deepest desires, dreams, hopes, and even fears.
