Auditions are open for Back Bay Chorale, Brattleboro Camerata, Brattleboro Concert Choir, The Cambridge Chamber Singers , Cantemus Chamber Chorus, Cantilena, Coro Allegro, Crescendo Music, GM Chorale, Jameson Singers, Lexington Pops Chorus, Masterworks Chorale, Mystic River Chorale, New England Classical Singers, The Oriana Consort and Zamir Chorale of Boston. August 19, 2025 (Tuesday)

7:00 PM. Pioneer Valley Symphony [MA]: Summer Sing: Alice Parker & Margaret Bonds with Dr. Allegra Martin. Come sing Margaret Bonds's Ballad of the Brown King and Alice Parker's "On the Common Ground", "Hark I Hear the Harps Eternal", "Wondrous Love", and "Sing, Sing", led by PVS Chorus Director Dr. Allegra Martin. PVS Summer Sings are open community events, each led by a different conductor, who conduct a sing-and-play-through after taking a little time to workshop tricky sections. Singers don’t need to have performed the work before, but will probably get the most out of the experience if they can sight-read or are familiar with the work. Bring your own score or borrow a copy from the PVS. We invite instrumentalists to join a pick-up chamber orchestra, led by an accompanist. Suggested admission: $20, or pay what you can afford.
