Auditions are open for Cantemus Chamber Chorus, Cantilena, Concord Women’s Chorus, Consonare Choral Community, Convivium Musicum, Jubilate Chorale, Lexington Pops Chorus, Masterworks Chorale, Mystic River Chorale, The Oriana Consort and Oure Pleasure Singers. iCal 7:30 PM. The Lexington Pops Chorus [MA]: Open Rehearsals. The Lexington Pops Chorus is holding non-audition, open rehearsals for potential new members. Two free open rehearsals will be held Tuesdays, September 6th and 13th, at 7:30 pm in Clark Hall, Hancock Church, 1912 Massachusetts Ave, Lexington. Singers must be able to read music and stand for performances. Now beginning its 41st year, the chorus enjoys the enthusiasm of members from over 15 area towns. We sing a wide variety of music, including classical, Broadway, jazz, folk and gospel. Our winter concerts, January 13th and 14th, 2023, will feature John Rutter’s “Requiem”, “Wicked” arranged by Mark Brymer, Leon Dubinsky’s “We Rise Again”, William Dawson’s “Soon-ah Will Be Done”, Gwyneth Walker’s “How Can I Keep From Singing?” and more.
