7:30 PM. Zamir Chorale of Boston [MA]: The Masterworks of Majesty. A lecture-concert featuring the monuments of 19th-century Europe's synagogue choral music. What makes music great? What makes music sacred? What makes music popular? We will investigate these issues through a performance of the greatest and most popular synagogue music of its time.
