Tom Brand received early musical training in the Boys Choir of Trinity Episcopal Church in New Haven under Walden Moore and at the American Boychoir School in Princeton, New Jersey under James Litton. He studied choral conducting at Yale, where his mentors included Marguerite Brooks and Jeffrey Bernstein. Tom is the founder of Saecula Choir Foundation, Elm City Girls' Choir, and United Girls' Choir, and has served as Music Director of several area churches, including St. John’s Episcopal Church in Bridgeport from 2005 to 2021 and St. John’s in Washington from 2001 to the present.
