iCal 7:30 PM. Tactus Ensemble Cambridge [MA]: A (Mostly) Spanish Renaissance Christmas. A range of Renaissance Christmas music from the well-known to the undiscovered, including a Magnificat by Guerrero, a Christmas motet by Morales, and Victoria’s O Magnum Mysterium, as well as music by Juan Garcia de Salaza, Pedro de Aranaz, Juan Gutierrez de Padilla. The program will conclude with a set of Christmas villancicos, sung in Spanish, and Renaissance settings of familiar Christmas carols. For more information, email tactusensemble@gmail.com.
