  • Arts Empowering Life Foundation [MA]: Dr. Samuel Adler: 95 Years of Music To Speak To Our Time (lecture). A lecture celebrating creativity in music and the arts by Samuel Adler, composer of 400 published works, teacher for sixty-three years at Juilliard and Eastman, and student of Aaron Copland, Paul Hindemith, and Randall Thompson, among others. At age ten he narrowly escaped Nazi Germany during Kristallnacht, the “night of broken glass.” At age ninety-five, he continues to compose and speak. A recent album of his music sung by Gloriae Dei Cantores, To Speak to Our Time, won a 2023 American Prize.   • WIngs of Song, Community Chorus [MA]: Celtic Noëls, Christmas pieces from Brittany and elseware in France. BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!
