Summer Sings at First Unitarian Church of Worcester

First Unitarian Church of Worcester will be holding four Summer Sings on every Thursday in June from 7-9 pm in our sanctuary. At these informal and musically rewarding events, choral singers from Worcester and beyond are invited to show up, grab a score that will be provided, and sing through a famous choral masterwork together.

Schedule:

  • June 4: Fauré’s Requiem. Music Director Dr. Allegra Martin, conducting.
  • June 11: Choruses from Bach’s cantatas Nos. 1 and 111, as well as choruses from Handel’s Messiah with guest conductor Chris Shepard;
  • June 18: Margaret Bonds’ Credo and The Ballad of the Brown King with guest conductor Ellie Armsby
  • June 26: Vivaldi's Gloria. Music Director Dr. Allegra Martin, conducting.

All sings are free and open to the public; donations will be gratefully accepted.

First Unitarian Church is located at 90 Main St, Worcester, MA. Parking is available in the church parking lots on State St. Our accessible entrance is located on the side of our building off the lower State St. parking lot.
