The first season of the Northeast Men’s Summer Chorus gets under way with a concert on August 15, 2019, in West Brattleboro in southern Vermont. Participants will be coming from New Jersey, New York City and State, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, and beyond to gather for a singing vacation. Evenings will be spent in camaraderie and song, days – with family and friends – exploring the lovely countryside.

Auditions are not required. Some choral experience is helpful, but participoants need not be current members of a choral group. The Chorus will present three free concerts, in churches in West Brattleboro, VT, Charlestown, NH, and Chester, VT. The venues are within a one hour's drive of each other. Repertoire ranges from the Romantic period to modern, classical to doo-wop, including spirituals, folk, patriotic, musical theater, and the American Songbook.

The registration fee of $30 includes MP3 and pdf files. sheet music and binder. Singers are responsible for making their own lodging arrangements. A list of nearby accommodations is available on request.
