Acadia Centennial Concert: In Nature's Realm
Join singers from Maine and from around the world on beautiful Mount Desert Island. Two performances, with orchestra, in historic St. Saviour’s Episcopal Church: August 5 and 6, 2016 at 7:30 p.m., with a pre-concert talk by music director David Schildkret each evening at 7 p.m.
Our 2016 concerts will celebrate nature with short works by many composers and will feature the world premiere of a specially commissioned work written for the the Chorale by beloved composer Craig Courtney and Benjamin Britten's Rejoice in the Lamb.
Weekly rehearsals this summer will be from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the choral room at MDI High School, 1081 Eagle Lake Road, Bar Harbor.
