Gather at the River
The Choral Arts Foundation, VTACDA, and NHACDA are proud to present a two-day conference featuring keynote speaker and conductor Tim Sharp. This is not your average conference! It is geared toward both the conductor and the singer. Workshops include rehearsal techniques, conducting using musician’s intuition, vocal training/pedagogy, how to sing with emotion and motion, and singing for comfort in a hospice choir, and much more.
Participants can sing in an all-conference choir directed by Tim Sharp. Additionally, choose between three small ensembles including SSAA Women’s Literature with Dawn Willis, SATB Brittan & Bernstein with E. Wayne Abercrombie, and African and Zimbabwean music with Larry Gordon of Village Harmony. There is a Friday evening concert with invited choirs and a Saturday afternoon performance by the three small ensembles and the all-conference choir.
Registration fee is only $50. Dorm housing is an additional $55. More information can be obtained from Johanna Evans at johanna.r.evans@dartmouth.edu.
