Geoffrey Hudson’s 2019 eco-oratorio, A Passion for the Planet, blends scientific prose, poetry, and sacred texts from many faiths. Hudson received his undergraduate degrees at Oberlin College, where he studied American history and composition (with Richard Hoffmann) and earned a Master’s in composition at New England Conservatory, where his principal teacher was Malcolm Peyton. He is the director of Quabbin Valley Pro Musica.
