Emergency Grants Program Open Through Nov 15
The CoViD-19 crisis has had an enormous impact on choral organizations and Choral Arts New England is proud to support our choral communities as they weather these uncertain times. Choral Arts New England Emergency Grants are a special initiative to provide immediate assistance to organizations experiencing difficulty due to circumstances related to COVID-19. Applications will be accepted via our online application form until 11:59 p.m. on November 15, 2020. In addition, we expect to continue offering Alfred Nash Patterson grants early next year, as we have in every year since 1985.

CANE Remembers: Flossie Dunn
CANE Remembers our 1997 Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient Florence “Flossie” Dunn, who died October 12, 2020 at age 98. An Elementary Music Teacher in Brookline, MA, Ms. Dunn also served as a Faculty member at the Berkshire Music Center, in addition to a sixty-year association with The Apollo Club of Boston, first as accompanist and then as conductor. Flossie was a commendable supporter of choral music and exemplified the spirit of Choral Arts New England. She will be missed.
