Music on the Hill Summer Sings
Music on the Hill invites choral singers to join us for our annual Summer Sings! programming, presenting choral music of Mendelssohn, Mozart, Faure and Haydn, each Tuesday in August from 7–9 p.m., in the WEPCO church complex at 48 New Canaan Road, Wilton, CT. The audience is the chorus! This is a chance for experienced choristers to sing while their own choirs and choruses are on break over the summer. It also allows musicians and music-lovers to get acquainted with new friends in the area who have a shared love of choral and classical music.
Schedule:
- August 6: Mendelssohn's Elijah, Marguerite Brooks conducting
- August 13: Mozart's Requiem, Benjamin Niemczyk conducting
- August 20: Faure's Requiem, David H. Connell conducting
- August 27: Haydn's "Lord Nelson" Mass, Ellen Dickinson conducting
Advanced registration is appreciated. To find out more and to register, please contact Artistic Director Ellen Dickinson at ellen@musiconthehillCT.org or call (203) 529-3133.
