Amherst Early Music Festival Choral Workshop
The Choral Workshop at the Amherst Early Music Festival runs July 10–17, 2016 on the campus of Connecticut College in New London, CT. Spend a week with acclaimed conductor Kent Tritle and experience the joy of choral singing.
The 2016 Choral Workshop at the Amherst Music Festival is designed to give the serious amateur choral singer an opportunity to learn and perform masterworks of the Renaissance and Baroque, within the context of the largest early music festival in the United States. For 2016, the Choral Workshop will focus on 17th century German works, including the choral masterpiece Musikalische Exequien by Heinrich Schütz. Tuition for the week is $580, and housing on campus is available starting at $185.
