Ogontz Choral Workshop

Year:
2025
Date(s):
July 13–19, 2025
Location:
Ogontz, near Littleton, N.H.

The Ogontz Choral Workshop offers extraordinary opportunities for singers, church musicians, and choral conductors to explore repertoire with one of the world’s leading choral directors. Registration is open to anyone — no auditions are required. Past participants have come from across North America and beyond and have included singers and musicians of all backgrounds.

Unlike many summer choral workshops, which focus on a culminating public performance, the Ogontz Choral Workshop is an opportunity to become immersed in several masterpieces without the pressure of preparing to perform.

The Ogontz Choral Workshop 2025 cost of attendance is:

  • Standard singing participant — $1,500
  • First-time singing participant — $1,300
  • Non-singing companion — $1,300
  • Educators - $1,300
  • First time next generation singing participant (born 1985 or later) — $1,200

The cost of attendance includes tuition, music rental, lodging and meals.

Workshop scholarships and financial assistance are available through the Ogontz Arts Foundation.

Repertoire for 2025 includes Antonin Dvořák’s Requiem, John Rutter’s "The Sprig of Thyme", and William Byrd’s Mass for Four Voices and Mass for Five Voices. The staff includes David Hill, Choral Conductor and Workshop Leader; Paula Rockwell, Vocal Instructor; and George Kent, Artistic Director.
