Chorus description:	Voices of Concinnity is a new 11-voice chamber ensemble of dedicated, seasoned choral artists from diverse backgrounds who strive to explore the art of singing together. We are interested in exploring the alignment of vocal timbres -- collectively. This group will experiment with arrangement of singers and intonation in an attempt to maximize overtones and unity of sound without compromising vocal color. "Concinnity" is the harmonious arrangement or fitting together of the different parts of something, which encompasses the explorations of blending our voices. The word is derived from Latin, meaning "skillfully put together." We will work to achieve this goal with every performance. ​ This vocal chamber ensemble is dedicated to creating innovative and provocative music programs that encourage the engagement of the community in quality, choral music.
