Description

The mission of the Jubilate Chorale is to promote the performance and enjoyment of choral music, to provide growth and enrichment to participating singers, and to encourage youthful choristers to continue the development of musical skills throughout their adult lives.

The Chorale maintains two important programs: The Mary H. Wilcox stipend, awarded yearly to the winner of the Chorale's music competition for undergraduate vocal students, and the Choral Music Enhancement Program for high school juniors and seniors, a 26 week after school/evening program run over two seasons which will give talented singers the opportunity for one-on-one coaching with the conductor, rehearsals with the Chorale, and a Chorale member mentor. The program culminates with participation in our seasonal performances.
