Description
Sandpipers is an auditioned treble chorus for boys and girls ages 7-16, located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Founded in 1993 by Dianne Colby Dean, the program exposes children to the finest choral music, and is widely recognized in the seacoast area for the quality of its performances and the unique educational opportunity it provides. Sandpipers offers: * Healthy vocal development for young singers * Training in musical skills in a supportive, non-competitive environment * An emphasis on cooperation and teamwork * The development of dedicated singers who continue to contribute enthusiastically to school choral programs
Senior Chorus has 32-42 singers; Prep Chorus has 15-20 singers.
