Description

Under Director Leslie McDonell and Assitant Director Will Gunn, the Society attracts singers from throughout central New Hampshire and as far away as Maine. The Chorus is based at Plymouth State University and boasts a diverse membership from students, faculty/staff and community members from all walks of life.

Choral rehearsals are scheduled for Monday nights throughout each semester. The Pemigewasset Choral Society was organized in 1973 as a non-profit regional performing arts organization with the purpose of studying and presenting quality choral literature. No audition is required.

In the past, the Pemi Choral Society has performed by invitation at the Claremont Opera House, presented concerts on tour in Europe, in Prince Edward Island, Ottawa and Quebec, Canada.
