2:00 PM. Boston Choral Ensemble [MA]: Summer Sing: Fauré Requiem. Qualified singers of all ages and all voice parts are welcome to come and sing Fauré’s Requiem and his Cantique de Jean Racine with Andrew Shenton, conductor, and Mitchell Crawford, organ. We assemble at 1:45 PM to rehearse starting at 2:00 PM. The performance will start at 4:00 PM and will be followed be a reception. Singers should download the Requiem score edited by Philip Legge from the CPDL web site and either print it off or add it to their tablet. They should also download the Cantique in the version edited by Rafael Ornes which we will perform, rehearsal time permitting. Some scores will be available on the day for a nominal fee.
