Johannes Brahms: Nanie; Florence Price “Song of Hope” (South Shore premiere); Ralph Vaughan Williams: Dona Nobis Pacem. Danica A. Buckley, conductor. All three pieces balance somber text with the eternal beauty of art and nature. The lush orchestration and flowing choral lines depart a sense of wonder.
