8:00 PM. The Seraphim Singers [MA]: Stars and Planets. Between the movements of Holst's The Planets choral pieces will illuminate a glorious journey through the heavens. Gustav Holst: The Planets, transcribed by Peter Sykes; Timothy Takach: Helios (selections); Jonathan Dove: Seek Him that Maketh the Seven Stars; Patricia Van Ness: Stars (premiere, commission, poetry by Sarah Teasdale); Robert Schumann: An die Sterne; Elliott Gyger: Wie schön leuchtet die Morgenstern.
