Auditions are open for Back Bay Chorale, Brattleboro Camerata, Brattleboro Concert Choir, The Cambridge Chamber Singers , Cantemus Chamber Chorus, Cantilena, Coro Allegro, Crescendo Music, GM Chorale, Jameson Singers, Lexington Pops Chorus, Masterworks Chorale, Mystic River Chorale, New England Classical Singers, The Oriana Consort and Zamir Chorale of Boston. iCal 7:30 PM. Lincoln Festival Chorus [ME]: Coronation Mass. W.A. Mozart: "Coronation Mass". Mary Sullivan, soprano; Jenna Guiggey, mezzo-soprano; David Myers-Wakeman, tenor; John David Adams, bass-baritone. With orchestra. The Mass in C Major "Coronation Mass,” composed in 1779, is one of the most popular of Mozart’s 17 settings of the Latin mass texts. Also, special guest David Myers-Wakeman will sing two arrangements of hits from The Platters, including "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes" and "The Great Pretender." Several shorter pieces will also be featured, including arrangements of "Blue Skies," "In The Still Of The Night," "It Don't Mean A Thing," "Mister Sandman," and "Over the Rainbow." Tickets: $25.
