iCal 7:30 PM. Mystic Chorale [MA]: TOGETHER: Mystic Chorale sings live again! Directed by Nick Page and featuring Donnell Patterson on piano, a smaller but stalwart chorus brings back some of Mystic’s favorite songs of celebration, including Miriam Makeba's Pata Pata with returning guest Nthabi Thakadu; "Glory to God" from Handel's Messiah; Nick Page’s arrangement of Joey Weisenberg’s Kol HaNeshama; the Gospel prayer "I Need You to Survive" (led by Nthabi); Ysaye Barnwell's arrangements of "Power! Lord!" and "Steal Away"; and Donnell’s soul-stirring arrangement of "Every Day Is a Day of Thanksgiving", featuring returning soloist Louise Grasmere. Proof of vaccination is required of all in attendance, along with spaced-out seating and masks throughout the performance. Tickets: $20 general admission, $10 livestreaming access.
