8:00 PM. Metropolitan Chorale [online]: Home - Virtual concert including world premiere. This virtual presentation will feature the world premiere of a suite of four new pieces by Steven Sametz, with some old and new favorites. This project is a self-portrait; a snapshot of our year together in a virtual space, and the newfound significance of “home.” Members took part by contributing their own reflections on the concept of home over the past year, which then served as text for these new works, making this concert especially personal and unique for us.
