7:00 PM. Voce [CT]: Prelude: Featuring Eric Whitacre. Eric Whitacre: Lux Nova; Cloudburst; Leonardo Dreams of His Flying Machine; five movements from Sacred Veil; other works. Whitacre will be present as Voce's 2019-2020 season Conductor and Composer-in-Residence. "Concert Sponsor" donation of $150 includes an opportunity to witness a rehearsal and meet Eric at a reception on Oct. 21. Concert tickets are $35 in advance for members of choruses in the Choral Arts New England Directory (https://www.choralarts-newengland.org/Directory).
