Auditions are open for Back Bay Chorale, Brattleboro Camerata, Brattleboro Concert Choir, The Cambridge Chamber Singers , Cantemus Chamber Chorus, Cantilena, Coro Allegro, Crescendo Music, GM Chorale, Jameson Singers, Lexington Pops Chorus, Masterworks Chorale, Mystic River Chorale, New England Classical Singers, The Oriana Consort and Zamir Chorale of Boston. iCal 7:00 PM. South Hadley Chorale [MA]: Rehearsals to Begin for Chichester Psalms. The South Hadley Chorale will begin rehearsals for its new season on Wednesday, October 9, 2019. The program will feature Leonard Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms, plus smaller pieces such as Benjamin Britten’s Jubilate Deo, Libby Larson’s Beneath These Alien Stars, Randall Thompson’s Something Like a Star, and Eric Whitacre’s Five Hebrew Love Songs. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, South Hadley. The concert is March 15, 2020, in Abbey Chapel at Mount Holyoke College. Alexandra Ludwig returns for her second year as music director and conductor. The South Hadley Chorale is made up of over 70 singers from 17 communities. All interested singers are invited to join.
