Auditions are open for Back Bay Chorale, Brattleboro Camerata, Brattleboro Concert Choir, The Cambridge Chamber Singers , Cantemus Chamber Chorus, Cantilena, Coro Allegro, Crescendo Music, GM Chorale, Jameson Singers, Lexington Pops Chorus, Masterworks Chorale, Mystic River Chorale, New England Classical Singers, The Oriana Consort and Zamir Chorale of Boston. 7:30 PM. Vocal Revolution [MA]: New member auditions. Vocal Revolution is a four part a cappella men's chorus that meets Thursday nights at 7:30 PM in Temple Emunah, 9 Piper Road, Lexington Mass ("shuttle service" is provided on request from Alewife Station for those who don't have cars). We will have two part auditions starting on 9/6/19, and we welcome male singers to come try out for our group. Vocal Revolution won the WGBH Sing That Thing Competition three years ago and is entering again this year; they are 16- or 17-time winners of the Northeastern District Competition of the Barbershop Harmony Society and have placed in the top 25 at International many times. Performances are dynamic: We sing and place a great deal of emphasis on communicating the meaning of the song. We do not hold music, so the ability to memorize from the chart or from a learning track is important. If you are interested, contact membership VP Tony Guerra, or just come to a rehearsal.
