Auditions are open for Brattleboro Concert Choir, Cantemus Chamber Chorus, Cantilena Voices, Coro Allegro, Crescendo Inc, Eudaimonia Voices, GMChorale, Masterworks Chorale, Oriana Consort, The Seraphim Singers, Sheepscot Chorus, Southeastern Massachusetts Festival Chorus, St. Cecilia Chamber Choir, West Bay Chorale and Zamir Chorale of Boston. 7:15 PM. The Cambridge Chamber Singers [MA]: Auditions for the 2019–2020 season. The Cambridge Chamber Singers are holding auditions for experienced amateur singers. We rehearse Thursday evenings at MIT. The December 7-8 concerts will include Palestrina, Schütz, and Schumann; in May we'll be doing an exciting collaboration with the Boston New Music Initiative. In the 10-minute audition you will: 1) Sing a prepared, unaccompanied piece – something you’re comfortable with. Demonstrate accuracy and expressiveness. 2) Sight read Renaissance and contemporary excerpts. 3) Do some vocal exercises across your range as requested. 4) Sing back a series of intervals.
