A musical celebration of the holiday and winter season, featuring Dietrich Buxthehude’s Das Neugeborne Kindelein, contemporary pieces by Ola Gjeilo, a piano solo of the “Miniature Overture” from The Nutcracker with Pierre Fournier, a cello solo of Ernest Bloch’s “Prayer” from Jewish Life with Margaret Gilmore, and spirituals and carols. With string ensemble, piano, organ and hand drum; Jane Woods, music director. Tickets: $15 adults, $10 students, free for those under 13. A reception and raffle will follow both concerts.
