Auditions are open for Back Bay Chorale, Brattleboro Camerata, Brattleboro Concert Choir, The Cambridge Chamber Singers , Cantemus Chamber Chorus, Cantilena, Coro Allegro, Crescendo Music, GM Chorale, Jameson Singers, Lexington Pops Chorus, Masterworks Chorale, Mystic River Chorale, New England Classical Singers, The Oriana Consort and Zamir Chorale of Boston. 6:30 PM. Metropolitan Chorale [MA]: Auditions for the Metropolitan Chorale. COME SING WITH US! The Metropolitan Chorale and Music Director Dr. Lisa Graham are seeking experienced choral singers for our 2018-2019 season. In addition to musical excellence, our chorale is known for its camaraderie and diverse programming. Auditions will be held for all voice parts on Monday-Wednesday, August 27-29 from 6:30 to 10:00 p.m., and on Tuesday, September 4 from 8:30 to 10:00 p.m. Please email Reka Peterson, Chorale Administrator, at admin@metropolitanchorale.org to schedule an audition. Repertoire for the season will include Verdi’s Requiem, Menotti's The Unicorn, the Gorgon and the Manticore, R. Murray Schafer's A Medieval Bestiary, and a program titled "The Creative Impulse," exploring the historical and contemporary moments when music has given voice to change. Selected members will join the Boston Pops, under the direction of Keith Lockhart, to sing a series of holiday concerts throughout New England.
