Auditions are open for Back Bay Chorale, Brattleboro Camerata, Brattleboro Concert Choir, The Cambridge Chamber Singers , Cantemus Chamber Chorus, Cantilena, Coro Allegro, Crescendo Music, GM Chorale, Jameson Singers, Lexington Pops Chorus, Masterworks Chorale, Mystic River Chorale, New England Classical Singers, The Oriana Consort and Zamir Chorale of Boston. 11:00 AM. Vocal Revolution [MA]: Vocal Revolution A Cappella Festival. Boston's top a cappella groups perform in a free a cappella festival from 11 AM to 3 PM, weather permitting (no rain date). The festival is organized by Vocal Revolution, which will be joined by None of the Above, Bostonality, Common Sound, SIN(G), Downtown Crossing, and others. Singers will perform music in styles ranging from today's pop music to the more traditional songs we sing to our children. The Herter Park Amphitheater has easy parking and open space for a family outing. Bring your lunch and make it a family picnic.
