7:30 PM. Mystic Chorale [MA]: The Folk Revival Revisited with Bill Staines! The creative spirit that reinvented Folk back in the ‘60s is still very much alive in the music of today. Celebrating a mix of the old and the new, the performance will dive into the fun and passion of this remarkable, ever-evolving music, with pieces by classic artists such as Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, and Phil Ochs and more contemporary folk artists such as Ruth Moody of the Wailin’ Jennys and Carrie Newcomer. Mystic Chorale welcomes returning guest Bill Staines, accompanied by an old-time band led by Chris Eastburn.
