Auditions are open for Back Bay Chorale, Brattleboro Camerata, Brattleboro Concert Choir, The Cambridge Chamber Singers , Cantemus Chamber Chorus, Cantilena, Coro Allegro, Crescendo Music, GM Chorale, Jameson Singers, Lexington Pops Chorus, Masterworks Chorale, Mystic River Chorale, New England Classical Singers, The Oriana Consort and Zamir Chorale of Boston. 8:00 PM. Cappella Clausura [MA]: The Dinner Party: Barbara Strozzi meets Claudio Monteverdi. Our small group of singers and players will transport you to a Venetian palazzo, in a relaxed atmosphere of friendly competition during an imagined meeting of two great musical minds: Barbara Strozzi and Claudio Monteverdi. With 6 singers, and special guests on baroque violin and gamba, and our own Catherine Liddell, theorbo/baroque guitar. Tickets: $24 adult, $20 student.
