iCal 7:30 PM. Cantata Singers [MA]: Chamber Series: Weiner and Weill. Yiddish art songs by American composer Lazar Weiner and cabaret music by German composer Kurt Weill. Soloists include sopranos Bonnie Gleason and Angelynne Hinson, mezzo-sopranos Lynn Torgove and Jennifer Webb, tenor Michael Bennett, and baritone Brian Church. Supported in part by the Kurt Weill Foundation for Music. Yehudi Wyner, Pulitzer Prize-winning composer, will give a pre-concert talk, free to all ticketholders, at 6:30 pm.
