Auditions are open for Allegra Commonwealth Singers, Cantemus Chamber Chorus, Cantilena Voices, Convivium Musicum, Coro Allegro, Crescendo Inc, Eudaimonia Voices, GMChorale, Halalisa Singers, JourneySongs, Masterworks Chorale, Old North Festival Chorus and Old North Church , The Seraphim Singers, Sheepscot Chorus, St. Cecilia Chamber Choir, Tanglewood Festival Chorus, West Bay Chorale and Zamir Chorale of Boston. 7:00 PM. Chorus pro Musica [MA]: New Member Auditions. Chorus pro Musica is holding auditions for all voice parts (SATB) by appointment, Aug. 29 between 7–10 pm. The audition will include vocalization, hearing, and sight-reading exercises; singers will also be asked to prepare a short solo. CpM rehearses on Monday nights at Old South Church, Copley Sq, Boston; there will be additional rehearsals during concert weeks. Our 2016–2017 season includes Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis, Candlelight Christmas at Old South, and the concert version of Gershwin’s Of Thee I Sing.
