Amherst Early Music Festival Choral Workshop
The Choral Workshop at the Amherst Early Music Festival runs July 10–17, 2016 on the campus of Connecticut College in New London, CT. Spend a week with acclaimed conductor Kent Tritle and experience the joy of choral singing.
The Choral Workshop is designed to give the serious amateur choral singer an opportunity to learn and perform masterworks of the Renaissance and Baroque, within the context of the largest early music festival in the United States. For 2017, the program is William Byrd: The Great Service, along with works of Thomas Tallis and Robert Parsons. The performance is on Saturday, July 22, in Harkness Chapel. Tuition for the week is $590, and housing on campus is available starting at $195.
