The Coolidge Corner Community Chorus is seeking a new Choral Director to lead a non-auditioned, adult SATB chorus that meets on Wednesday evenings from 7:15 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. in Brookline, MA (September through June). The group is composed of approximately 50 - 60 singers of differing abilities and backgrounds, all of whom enjoy a range of musical styles from early to contemporary, as well as masterworks to little known compositions.

We are looking for a Choral Director to select appropriate repertoire, lead rehearsals, and direct concerts. The Chorus performs an annual spring concert at All Saints Parish in Brookline, as well as one or more smaller performances at local venues throughout the year.

We also offer chorus members the opportunity to be part of a small, self-selecting ensemble that sings shorter works. This group meets Wednesdays from 6:15 p.m. to 7:10 p.m. We are looking for a candidate who is available and willing to offer this opportunity in addition to the main evening rehearsals.

The compensation for this position is $1000 per month (September through June).
