Chorus description:	The original Portland Gay Men's Chorus was established in 1992 and performed until 2012. The new Maine Gay Men's Chorus was relaunched in January 2015. The Maine Gay Men's Chorus is an organization of gay men and their allies that is dedicated to excellence in the choral arts. They are committed to providing a positive and productive educational, social, and entertainment experience for their members, friends and audience. Through their music, they strive to educate themselves and the community at large by delivering the message of social acceptance and diversity.
