Chorus description:	The chorus sings a rich mix of soulful music from many cultural and musical traditions. Women of all ages and all walks of life attend weekly rehearsals at South Church in downtown Portsmouth. Women come from New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts to sing and share the joy that comes from making music together. Voices from the Heart performs two concerts a year, in June and November. The preparation for the June concert begins in January. The November concert preparation begins in September. ​Rehearsals are on Monday nights at the South Church (292 State Street) in Portsmouth, NH. The rehearsals last 2 hours (7-9pm) and are not open to the public.
