Including ethereal polyphony by 16th century composer Tomas Luis de Victoria, we span five centuries to the premiere of composer-in-residence Dr. Jonathan Santoreʼs settings of Spanish Renaissance poetry by Lope de Vega.

Accompanied by string orchestra and other unique instruments. The Master Chorale is working in collaboration with astrophotographer Christopher M. Georgia to project stunning visuals throughout the concert; Georgia will also be offering pre-concert lectures detailing how he creates his incredible images. A beautiful work by a young Norwegian composer that examines the wounding of our world, the beauty of the earth, and the struggle of a profoundly divided humanity towards a shared song. Evocative texts by European poet Euan Tait are brought to life with strings and piano. "It is not you alone, sea-singer, in the end, your voice fizzing into the oncoming waves, but it is the grain of your voice like a choral thread in the rock linking you song to song…" Tickets $30 adults, $25 senior, free admission for students K through undergraduate.
