iCal 8:00 PM. Swanhurst Chorus [RI]: Rossini by Candlelight. Swanhurst will offer Giaochino Rossini’s romantic, sometimes playful, sometimes dramatic, always fabulous Petite Messe Solennelle. The composer himself described his work as “the last of my sins of old age,” and though liturgical in content, it often belies the true comic and operatic heart of its creator. Candlelight tours of beautiful St. John’s on The Point and pre-concert music will begin at 7:30. Tickets are $20 in advance, $23 at the door, and $10 for full-time students.
