iCal 3:30 PM. Assabet Valley Mastersingers [MA]: Messiah sing. The Christmas portion of Handel’s oratorio in addition to the “Hallelujah Chorus” will be sung. Those in attendance will be invited to join with members of the chorus, sitting in sections according to voice part. Organist Brett Maguire will provide accompaniment; vocal soloists will be soprano Elaine Crane, mezzo Desiree Maira, tenor Eric Christopher Perry, and baritone James Liu. Robert P. Eaton, Artistic Director of the Assabet Valley Mastersingers, will direct. Some scores are available to share, although participants are urged to bring their own, if possible. Those people who would prefer to listen are also welcome. A donation of $10 is suggested. Guests are invited to share refreshments afterwards.
