4:00 PM. Pioneer Valley Symphony [MA]: Alice Parker Festival. Over 300 singers from seven local choirs will fill Abbey Chapel at Mount Holyoke College for a two-hour concert celebrating Alice Parker’s prolific body of work and her dedication to music, language, and the singing voice. Alice Parker, a renowned figure in choral music, was a lifelong resident of Massachusetts with strong ties to the Valley, including being a Smith College alumna.
