Program: Antonín Dvořák, Svatební košile (“The Spectre’s Bride”)

Based on a poem by Karel Jaromir Erben and sung in Czech, this choral-orchestral masterpiece vividly portrays a ghostly Bohemian legend through Dvořák’s folkloric melodies and colorful orchestration.

Rehearsals: Tuesday and Thursday evenings 7 pm-9:30 pm beginning June 25 at Sanders Theatre, Memorial Hall

Auditions are on Sunday, June 24, 2-5 pm and 6-9 pm, and Monday, June 25, 5-9 pm at Classroom 6 of the Music Building (Paine Hall), Harvard Yard, Cambridge, Mass. No prepared piece is necessary. For more information on our audition process, please click here.

If you sang in the Summer Chorus's 2018 concert, or if you are a member of one of our exempted choirs, you are invited to participate in the Chorus again this year without an audition. Sign up to participate using the online form. If you did not sing in the Chorus for last summer's concert, but you have sung in the chorus previously, we would like you to reaudition for the group.
