- Berkshire Lyric Theater of Pittsfield, Mass.
For a new composition for the "Ubi Caritas" ensemble by Berkshire resident Steve Murray.
The ensemble, formed in 2011, is a select group of twenty-two singers age 16 to 26 who, meeting for two months every summer, present a series of a cappella sacred concerts in August that raise funds for area food pantries.

To expand the Classroom Cantatas
residency program into two second grade inclusion classrooms during the 2016-2017 school year.
- Cantemus Chamber Chorus of Ipswich, Mass.
To support a collaboration between Cantemus Chamber Chorus and Rumbarroco
, a Latin-American fusion ensemble, for a multicultural choral/instrumental program that will be presented at the Shalin Liu Performance Center in Rockport and at the Cabot Performing Arts Center in Beverly in late April/early May, 2017.

In support of a performance of Donald McCullough’s Holocaust Cantata and James Whitbourn’s Luminosity in Portland, Maine on October 16, 2016.
- Concord Women's Chorus of Concord, Mass.
For Boston composer Beth Denisch to set three poems by Kathleen Jamie, one of Scotland's most-lauded living poets. The work, called The Tree House, will be premiered in Concord on May 13, 2017, and will be part of a concert tour of Scotland and England’s Lake District in June 2017.

To commission an original choral work in Mandarin by Jerry (Chiwei) Hui, Director of Choral Activities at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, to be to be premiered as a part of the ensemble's second annual "China in Song" concert series in March 2017.
- Massachusetts ACDA of Amherst, Mass.
To pay for registration and transportation costs of some music teachers working in underserved urban school districts in Holyoke and Springfield, Mass. who wish to attend the Massachusetts ACDA Summer Conference
in Northampton from July 19 to July 22, 2016.
- New Hampshire Music Festival of Plymouth, N,H.
To support the New England Choral Institute at New Hampshire Music Festival, a new collaboration between Plymouth State University and the New Hampshire Music Festival for experienced undergraduate, graduate, and community musicians. Under the direction of Dr. Dan Perkins, a nationally based faculty will provide lessons and masterclasses during the fourth week of the Festival's five week season.

To support a recording of Dan Forrest's Requiem for the Living and Te Deum, which will be available for CD and digital online distribution.
- The Vermont Choral Union of Essex Junction, Vt.
To commission a suite for a cappella chorus and flute by Christina Whitten Thomas on texts by Vermont poets, including Abigail Carroll, Jay Parini, and Jean Killary, in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Vermont Choral Union.
