Cantemus Invites Tenor and Bass Singers to Audition in January

Cantemus Chamber Chorus, now in its 43^rd year of providing the North Shore with imaginative and skillful choral performances, invites tenor and bass singers to audition for the spring semester and beyond.  Ten-minute auditions will take place by appointment on January 7^th and 14^th between 5:45 - 6:45 p.m., at Miles River Middle School, 787 Bay Road, S. Hamilton. Alternative audition times can be arranged as needed.

Cantemus’ Spring 2025 concerts on May 10^th and 11^th, “I Hear America Singing,” will explore what it means to be American: the American Dream, the American Diaspora, and Songs of Protest. 

Cantemus singers come from across the North Shore and from the Boston area to New Hampshire: Amesbury, Beverly, Bradford, Danvers, Durham NH, Georgetown, Gloucester, Hamilton, Haverhill, Ipswich, Lexington, Malden, Manchester, Melrose, Newburyport, North Andover, North Reading, Rockport, Roslindale, Topsfield, Wenham, and West Newbury.

Cantemus gratefully acknowledges funding support from the Massachusetts Cultural Council and from the Local Cultural Councils of Amesbury, Boxford, Essex, Ipswich, Marblehead, Newbury, and Newburyport.  Cantemus participates in the Card to Culture program, a Mass Cultural Council initiative that offers reduced-price tickets to card holders.
