Description

The Brattleboro Concert Choir (formerly the Brattleboro Community Chorus) is the oldest program of the Brattleboro Music Center. The choir was founded by Blanche Moyse, who envisioned a well-trained community chorus as the centerpiece of her vision of an arts organization dedicated to promoting the love of music. Members participate in weekly sectional rehearsals as well as weekly full group rehearsal. Guest vocal coaches conduct workshops on a regular basis.

Recent performances include: Gretchaninoff All-Night Vigil; Durufle Requiem; Poulenc Gloria; Fanshawe African Sanctus; Haydn Creation; Rachmaninoff Vespers; William Billings Psalmody and Anthems.
