iCal 7:30 PM. The Maine Music Society Chorale [ME]: Heritage Holidays Concert. Christmas carols and Chanukah songs from around the world, including “Silent Night,” “Y’mei Chanukah” and “Our Master, Lord Jesus” sung in its original language, and other carols in English, French, German, Polish, Hebrew, Spanish, and Latin. Keeping with tradition, the concert will end with everyone joining in to sing a round of festive Christmas carols. To celebrate this musical milestone, the MMS Chorale will perform arrangements of hits from the soundtrack of the movie The Big Chill as well as many other Motown favorites, including “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” “Stop! In the Name of Love,” “My Girl,” “I Can’t Help Myself,” “Do You Love Me,” “Please Mr. Postman,” and “I Heard it Through the Grapevine.” Tickets: adults $22, students $10, seniors $20, children under 12 free.
